Become a Student Leader! Join the MCEC Student Advisory Board!
Are you passionate about engineering and computing? Do you have ideas to improve MCEC? Do you want to represent the voice of your classmates to Dean Giovanna Giodoboni? Then join our Student Advisory Board!
What is the Student Advisory Board?
Our Student Advisory Board is a group of dedicated undergraduate and graduate students who provide valuable input on the Maine College of Engineering and Computing. As a member of the board, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Shape the future of MCEC: Your voice will be heard and your ideas will be implemented.
- Gain leadership experience: Develop your leadership skills and learn how to work effectively in a team.
- Build your resume: Add valuable experience to your resume and enhance your career prospects.
- Make a difference: Help us create a better community for everyone.
What is the time commitment?
With just 2-4 meetings per semester, you can easily balance your academic and extracurricular commitments. Beyond the meetings, you’ll only need to spend a couple of hours each month on follow-up tasks.
While the time commitment is minimal, the rewards are significant. You’ll gain invaluable leadership experience.
