NCEES Awards Funds to UMaine for Working Surveyors to Continue Their Surveying Education

The University of Maine’s Surveying Engineering Technology program has been awarded $100,000 in scholarships from the NCEES Foundation to support working surveyors pursuing their education. The program serves more than 400 students across 45 states, with 96% studying online while advancing their careers in surveying. Students are enrolled in a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs, all designed to prepare them for professional licensure and leadership in the field.

These NCEES Foundation scholarships will provide $1,000 awards to one hundred  deserving undergraduate students, helping them continue their studies, achieve licensure, and advance in their surveying careers.
