Alicante, Spain
Study in this Mediterranean city located on Spain’s southeast coast.
Live with a homestay family to improve your language skills and connect with local life, or stay in apartments with other USAC students. Take advantage of student life and amenities on the Universidad de Alicante campus.
All USAC classes are located at the Universidad de Alicante. This innovative university features beautiful landscaping and various sports facilities that USAC students can take advantage of, ranging from a weight room to climbing walls. Mechanical, Civil, Computer, and Electrical Engineering students can spend the fall semester of their sophomore year in Alicante and graduate on time. All courses are approved by UMaine for transfer credit. Gain a global perspective on engineering from leading faculty in Spain.
Nicosia, Cyprus
Study in the capital of Cyprus, an island in the Mediterranean Sea.
Live in a studio apartment in a modern residence hall with local students, surrounded by the university’s vibrant urban campus. Take advantage of student life and amenities, including restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and bars, retail, supermarkets, and more within walking distance.
Take classes at the University of Nicosia and experience the rich cultural history of Cyprus. This program features in-country excursions to various cities including Nicosia, Ayia Napa, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Kyrenia, and Troodos. Mechanical and Civil Engineering majors, and Mechanical Engineering Technology majors can spend the fall semester of their sophomore year in Nicosia and graduate on time. All courses are approved by UMaine for transfer credit. Excursions around Cyprus are included in the program cost. Gain a global perspective on engineering from leading faculty in Cyprus.
