A free software tool for managing academic life at the University of Maine is released in Android Market. It allows faculty and students to view course weekly schedule, meeting location, textbook, and faculty/staff contact information. The tool also provides maps of building and parking to help visitors and new students navigate the campus. software.

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in collaboration with the Mechanical Engineering Department and the University of Southern Maine unveiled impressive new technology as a portable lunar habitat from NASA was assembled at UMaine (See Video).
